Club World Cup: Predictions for Monday's games

- Palmeiras are yet to concede a goal at this FIFA Club World Cup
- Botafogo can secure top spot in Group B with just a point against Atletico Madrid
- Seattle Sounders have lost both their games but could still make the last 16
Some big European clubs look set to see their time in the United States cut short, with both Atletico Madrid and Porto on the verge of early exits from the Club World Cup.
Group A and B are topped by two Brazilian clubs, with Palmeiras and Botafogo both enjoying strong starts to the competition stateside.
Both teams will be looking to finish the job in this final round before looking forward to last-16 action.
Atletico Madrid vs Botafogo (Monday, 8pm)
After impressive wins over Seattle Sounders and Paris Saint-Germain, Botafogo know a point will be good enough to secure top spot in Group B.
Igor Jesus has been the star of the show for Fogo and he might well strike again in what could end as a stalemate at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena.
Score prediction: Atletico Madrid 1-1 Botafogo
Seattle Sounders vs Paris Saint-Germain (Monday, 8pm)
MLS outfit Seattle Sounders have found themselves out of their depth in this competition and an early exit looks imminent.
Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germain were given a shock by Botafogo last time out and the Sounders are likely to find themselves on the end of a backlash from the Ligue 1 giants at Lumen Field.
Score prediction: Seattle Sounders 0-4 Paris Saint-Germain

Inter Miami vs Palmeiras (Tuesday, 2am)
In contrast to fellow MLS teams Seattle and Los Angeles FC, Inter Miami have given themselves a great opportunity to reach the last 16.
A 2-1 comeback victory over Porto was a huge step forward for Lionel Messi and company, with Miami now level on points with Palmeiras at the top of the standings in Group A.
A draw at Hard Rock Stadium would be enough to take both teams through to the last 16 and that means both sides might just be happy to take the point and move on.
Score prediction: Inter Miami 0-0 Palmeiras
Porto vs Al Ahly (Tuesday, 2am)
Underwhelming in their opening two games of the tournament, it might well be a case of too little too late when Porto take on Al Ahly at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford.
Squandering a lead against Inter Miami and being undone by a brilliant free-kick from the one and only Messi, it looks like Porto will be heading back to Portugal earlier than expected.
Al Ahly have failed to score a single goal in this competition so far and they might well draw another blank in New Jersey.
Score prediction Porto 2-0 Al Ahly
