Yeovil came from behind to see off sorry Braintree with a 3-1 National League victory at Huish Park.

John Akinde opened the scoring for the visitors after 15 minutes as he collected George Langston’s assist just outside the box and fired home for his third goal of the season.

The Glovers equalised through Aaron Jarvis, who picked out the bottom corner following a long ball forward from captain Matt Worthington just before the half-hour mark.

On-loan Exeter teenager Ed James, 19, headed the hosts in front for the first time after 62 minutes with his first goal for the club and Brett McGavin added late gloss as Yeovil earned their second successive league win.
